Farmers’ market season is here! I am so excited to be participating in a few markets this year.

Today was the opening day for the farmers’ market at High School Park in Elkins Park. If you are not familiar to the area, this market is at the corner of Montgomery Ave and High School Park. You will not miss the colorful tents! This location is within 10 minutes from my home, easy to get to and so welcoming!

Today was the opening day. There was live music and lots of vendors selling olive oil, honey, baked goods, fresh fruit and produce, doggy treats and coffee! Since I was unable to participate today, they even reserved my spot. Talk about feeling welcomed!

This is a great way to enjoy Sundays with family. Go out for a walk, shop small businesses, enjoy a beautiful day in the park and get to know your neighbors!

Starting next Sunday, 5/26, I will be a vendor every Sunday from 10am to 1pm. There will be no market on Sunday June 2; so make a note of it. I will be selling French macarons, sticky buns, MADrings (my version of RingDings) and shortbread bars. I will try to have some vegan options, but again will see how they sell next Sunday for future events.

I am also brainstorming an option if anyone wants to pre-order what I will be offering at the market. What I am thinking is to post flavors/menu on the Thursday prior to the market day (Sunday). This will allow for late arrivals to still enjoy any flavors that could sell out. Option to pre-order will require a 25% non-refundable deposit of total order. Pre-orders must be picked up during and/or before the end of market day (1pm). A new “Policies Page” will be added with details.

I hope to see you next Sunday at the market! Stop by and say Hello!

Summer time fun hugs,
